One of the latest trends in the e-juice market is vapors; specifically vaporizing flavors. Vaping flavors, also referred to as e-juices, are created through a process which yields flavored concentrated water or alcohol extracts. Theoretically, this is done by passing a heated coil over specific herbs or plants which has been imbued with various flavorings. However, this will not entirely guarantee that the finish product will have the same flavor as it started out; in fact, researchers and enthusiasts think that certain vaping flavors can have multiple outcomes depending on conditions employed in their production.

The truth that many e-juice makers have the ability to create flavorful vaporized tobacco products highlights one of the more fundamental questions surrounding vaporizing flavors. Is it legal? Can these kinds of tobacco products to be sold and consumed? This is an important question, because some researchers think that vaporizing flavors constitutes illegal drug activity.

Essentially, these companies hope to interest this younger crowd by offering them something new and unique to smoke. Instead, they will have offered only “arette-like” flavors that appeal to their youthful audience, but which do nothing to really deliver a quit cigarette to the user.

One problem with traditional cigarettes is that they contain a large number of harmful ingredients. In fact, many of these ingredients have already been deemed carcinogenic recently. Many of the chemicals used in the creation of traditional cigarettes are also associated with serious diseases, such as cancer. By offering consumers a product that tastes just like a traditional cigarette, e-juice companies are effectively allowing smokers to repeatedly indulge in a vice which has been known to cause serious illnesses and that is extremely addictive. This plan simply encourages the continued smoking habit.

The thing is that no one really knows what the future effects of these kinds of products will be. Having said that, there is some concern that using simple flavoring chemicals within an electronic cigarette might not be as effective in the end as smokers who use up the habit once in order to get from the harshness of real tobacco. Some experts even believe that it could be possible that inhaling single flavor e-liquids can be more detrimental than smoking.

For example, strawberries tend to cause people to feel a rush in their systems much like those experienced by anyone who has taken drugs. Anecdotally, many smokers report that they feel significantly less addicted to cigarettes after drinking strawberry flavored e-liquids. However, research shows that simply because the chemicals contained in strawberries, instead of nicotine, trigger a release of dopamine in the brain, which makes people feel excited. While it is unknown whether this effect would remain true if it were combined with other chemicals, it is certainly a chance. Similarly, lemon and mango juices can also stimulate a rush within the body similar to the one which is experienced when taking in drugs.

In conclusion, although it is clear that e-juices and other vaporizing tobacco products carry some risk, it is probably fair to assume that the dangers of inhaling vapors are comparable to those of smoking. There are, however, still numerous questions that remain unanswered. For example, researchers aren’t quite sure how the chemicals found in e-juice and other tobacco products affect human behavior, especially given the fact that many smokers usually do not regularly drink coffee or tea. If more evidence proves to the contrary, vaporizing tobacco products will need to face an increased degree of scrutiny in public health circles. For now, the evidence is very preliminary and much research remains to be done.
